As Associate Director of Marketing and Business Development, Steve Crifasi focuses on how families are introduced to Westover and how the firm communicates its approach, values, and capabilities. He leads marketing and business development efforts designed to help prospective clients understand what it’s like to work with Westover and what differentiates the firm. Steve is also involved at key points in client relationships, helping ensure a smooth, well-coordinated onboarding process and clear alignment from the outset.
Steve brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and a deep understanding of how wealth management firms serve high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, as well as private foundations. He works closely with Westover’s leadership and advisory teams to support thoughtful, sustainable growth while maintaining the firm’s high standards for professionalism, discretion, and client care.
Steve was raised in Wilmington and attended Archmere Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Villanova University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designations, reflecting advanced training in financial planning, fiduciary responsibility, and trust and estate matters.
Steve began his career as a research analyst at Penn Square Capital, focusing on equity and private real estate markets. He later spent more than 13 years at Glenmede and Wilmington Trust before joining Westover Capital Advisors, gaining extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in fiduciary and advisory environments.
Steve is actively involved in the community, serving on the Investment Committee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware. He is a member of the Delaware Estate Planning Council and the Wilmington Tax Group, serves on the Board of Directors of the Wilmington Country Club, and remains active with the Archmere Academy Alumni Association.
